The program provides comprehensive coverage of Rutgers and Seton Hall men’s basketball, along with regular updates on Princeton, Monmouth, NJIT, FDU, Rider, Saint Peter’s, and Wagner. Each episode features discussions on women’s basketball, recruiting news, NBA stories with local connections, interviews with coaches, and timely commentary on the top stories in college hoops.
Dave Popkin brings more than three decades of experience to college basketball broadcasting. He enters his 22nd season as the radio color commentator for Seton Hall Basketball and his 25th year as the play-by-play voice of Northeast Conference Basketball. Popkin’s broadcasts have appeared on CBS Sports Network, the YES Network, FS1, and ESPN+. He has also called games for NJIT and Saint Peter’s and previously served as the voice of Monmouth University and LIU basketball. In addition to his extensive play-by-play and analyst work, Popkin hosted College Hoops Weekly, a syndicated radio show that aired on four New Jersey stations.
Greg Herenda is a veteran of more than 30 years in college basketball coaching and media. A native of North Bergen, New Jersey, he played four seasons at Merrimack College, holding the school record for assists in a single game (22). He went on to build a distinguished coaching career with stops at Seton Hall University, Yale University, and East Carolina University, before becoming head coach at UMass Lowell and later at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he led the Knights to their first NCAA Tournament win in school history. He also hosted The Greg Herenda Show on WFDU and served as an analyst for the YES Network. Greg brings his deep knowledge of the game, passion for New Jersey and Metro-Area college hoops, and engaging broadcasting style to the airwaves.
