The Toms River School District is the 6th largest school district in New Jersey with over 15,038 students attending three high schools (North, South, East), three intermediate schools (North, South, East), and 12 elementary schools (Beachwood, Cedar Grove, Citta, East Dover, Hooper Avenue, North Dover, Pine Beach, Silver Bay, South Toms River, Walnut Street, Washington Street and West Dover). The district employs over 2,000 faculty and staff.
